During the hunt for answers, we visited
the Museu da Marinha (nautical
museum) near the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos...

Monument
to the Discoveries (note the sailing ship, LOTS of wind!)
After a few hours in the wind and in the
rain, our mission finished at the café Pasteis
de Belém. Each group had the task to produce a
collage with the polaroid pictures that we had taken during our
trip. Here is the picture of our group The Penguins:

After successful completion of our second
mission, we received a second medal. Surprisingly, no prizes were
distributed later for the questionnaires that we had filled out during
the day.
After a coffee and some pasteis, the buses took us back to
the hotel. Shopping time at the Swatch store in the Amoreiras
shopping center. They had brought out lots of the portuguese
specials from the last years:

After a quick shower at the hotel, it was
time for our third and last mission Island
Of Sailors, taking us to the Docks area of Lisbon. Swatch
had rented one of the largest (52 meters) three-master sailing ships in
Portugal called Principe Perfeito. So we
went out with the ship for approximately two hours on the river Tejo:

it is really hard to take a
steady shot on a shaking boat :-)
After the arrival back at the land, we
walked over to one of Lisbon's best restaurants called Adega do
Kais. A 18(!) course dinner was waiting for us in the
cellar. The restaurant is housed in a late XIX century old
warehouse, by the riverside.

We were entertained by a phantastic singer
and two excellent musicians. At 11pm (=12 pm Biel time!), we sang
"Happy Birthday" for Skander.

The main hall of the restaurant, beautiful with a super atmosphere!
Finally, we received our third medal and a
special discoverer's hat:

The event was over after breakfast on the
next morning. Again, it was a super event with a lot of
highlights and a super special watch. Thanks to everyone from
Swatch The Club for making this possible!
Afterwards, we had a few hours before our
flights left Lisbon, so we took the metro to modern station Oriente to visit the area of
EXPO'98 again. It brought back a lot of nice memories from a Swatch event 10 years ago!

Overall, three phantastic days in Lisbon!
