In Germany, we have a similar
clock... But the one above is the original!

This morning, the buses took us to
Brooklyn on the other side of the east river. We left the buses
in the Red Hook area, at an IKEA
parking lot (of all places!). At each one of our three short
stops in the area, we had to answer some (easy) questions about the
surrounding area...

"how many steering wheels?"
When we were asked to enter the Fairway
super market, I first thought: "Why on earth visit a super
market? We also have these markets in Germany!" I was
completely wrong! This supermarket was unlike any other that I've
seen in Europe, see pictures below...

The third stop was at Valentino Pier. We had a
beautiful (and uncommon!) view of Lady Liberty from the pier:

a symbolic picture?

Afterwards, the buses took us to the Coney Island area where we had
lunch at a restaurant. Lots of smiling faces :-)

After the nice afternoon in Brooklyn, we
had a few hours off (including a visit to the Swatch store at Times
Square).

We also used the time for a short visit to
Charmin ("Enjoy
The Go") at Times Square, the worlds most unusual public
toilet...
