Thomas Chan sent me a few pictures from the first ever(?) Swatch The Club event in Canada (Toronto). He comments:

"In my 21 years of collecting Swatch in Canada, it probably was the first official event for members in Canada. 

Finally, we have a special launch event in Toronto, Canada.  Second Club Watch was launched yesterday (06-SEP) in Swatch Kiosk in Eaton Center Toronto.  Invited many collectors in Toronto and even Montreal to come.

Vivian Augsburger (brand manager in Canada, the gentleman in suit) and Guisy from Swatch Switzerland presented the watch in pic.

An artist was performed to paint to match the second club watch.  The art piece was raffled for those guests who purchased the Second Club watch.  SWA-RKSHOP was sold for $135 CAN.  Some other goodies were given to each collector as well."
