An hour later, it was time for the
first activity: the Lucerne treasure hunt. Our large
group had been divided (more or less) randomly into a dozen
competing teams. Each team received an iPad which was used
to solve location based puzzles in the city of Lucerne. In
addition, we received a map and a small book with
And then we started the treasure hunt which lasted for exactly 90 minutes. We took quite a few funny photos (unfortunately, we will never see them I guess), found out about the Brandgässli, looked up for strange pictures on the wall of a few buildings in the old town etc.

After the treasure hunt, it was time for an early dinner at the Hotel Astoria. The prizes for the treasure hunt were awarded.
At 7pm, we left for the cultural highlight of the Gold & Pioneer Event 2016: A classical concert at the famous KKL concert hall next to the railway station of Lucerne. I think that this was a first for a Gold & Pioneer Event, I liked the concert a lot.
