All club members were divided into about
10 groups named after the different Swatch product lines ("gent",
"lady", "POP", "access", "irony chrono", etc.). Each group
received a book with pictures of the city and a digital camera.
And we received an egg (not yet cooked).
Our task was to find the location of each
picture and take a picture of this location with our group. See example
below :-)
It was not too easy, I think that we
managed to find all locations but two. We also managed the most
difficult task: To walk into a random restaurant, cooking the
egg, and taking a picture of the egg in the pan.
Around noon, we all met at the landing
stage of the Società Navigazione Lago Di
Lugano, for a quick outdoor snack.
At 12.20: FLASHMOB! Swatch The
Club Team Member Caroline Kueffer had her last working days with the
club, so it was time to show some sympathy :-) Lots and lots of
hearts!
A few minutes later, our boat left heading for the little village of Gandria, located just a short distance east of Lugano. This tiny village only has about 200 inhabitants, and previously it was only possible to reach Gandria via foot or by boat!

We had a very nice lunch in one of the
restaurants in Gandria, great location. On the way back, the
prizes for the photo rally were distributed:
